When will my order ship?

Your order will ship out in 1-2 business days and you will be emailed the tracking information at that time.

What do you charge for shipping?

A fixed $7.95 for shipping applies to all orders.

What if my order arrives damaged?

If for some reason your order arrives damaged, please email me at brenda@cinnamonroseprimitives.com when you discover the damage. I will then immediately either email you or mail you a USPS return shipping label. (The USPS can be contacted to make a pick-up from your location.)

Please indicate if you would like a replacement shipped to you or a refund issued.

What is your return policy?

Returns are accepted within 5 days after receiving your order. Please email brenda@cinnamonroseprimitives.com to notify us and include your order number and reason for return. Customers are responsible for paying for return shipping. Items must be returned exactly as they are received and packages should have the necessary insurance as well.

What are primitives?

Primitives are pieces that show the look of time, and they come in the form of linens, lighting, furniture pieces, or handcrafted decor.

What are primitive collectibles?

Primitives can be new pieces made to look old through paint distressing or with the use of rustic materials, or they can be actual antiques that tell their history through every nick in their paint or patch in their quilting.

What is the difference between farmhouse and primitive decor?

While both celebrate vintage and handmade elements, farmhouse decor maintains a cleaner and more polished look, whereas primitive decor embraces a more aged and authentic appearance, creating distinct atmospheres for your living space.

Is Cinnamon Rose Pottery food safe?

Yes. Unless otherwise noted, all functional Cinnamon Rose Pottery pieces are created using modern, lead-free glazes and are fired to Cone 6. When properly fired to maturity, these durable stoneware glazes are food safe and dinnerware safe.

Is your pottery dishwasher safe?

Yes. Most functional pieces are dishwasher safe. However, because each piece is handcrafted, hand washing is recommended to help preserve the beauty of the glaze for many years.

Is your pottery microwave safe?

Yes. Most functional stoneware pieces are microwave safe. As with any ceramic, the piece may become warm during heating, so please handle with care.

Will my piece look exactly like the photo?

No—and that's part of the beauty of handmade pottery. Every piece is individually glazed and kiln fired, creating natural variations in color, movement, and texture that make each one truly one of a kind.

What does Cone 6 mean?

Cone 6 refers to the high temperature at which the pottery is fired (approximately 2,230°F/1,220°C). This firing produces strong, durable stoneware suitable for everyday use.
