The gently irregular plate is shaped around a large floral design that seems to emerge naturally from the surface. Layers of warm honey, antique gold, mossy sage and earthy olive mingle with touches of bronze and smoky blue-green. Along the softly undulating edge, deeper brown and coppery tones frame the piece and accentuate its sculptural shape.
At the center, subtle texture remains visible beneath the glaze, creating the impression of a flower caught somewhere between a botanical image and an abstract work of art. Variations in glaze thickness and movement create areas that appear almost translucent alongside softly feathered and richly mottled passages.
