Soft and dreamlike, Frosted Bloom captures the beauty of a flower seemingly touched by the first frost of the season.
A large botanical design spreads across the softly irregular surface, its petals emerging through layers of creamy ivory, misty blue-gray and muted sage. Beneath the lighter glaze, subtle touches of dusty plum and faded rose appear and disappear, giving the piece surprising depth and inviting a closer look.
The glaze has developed a delicate, feathery texture across the floral design, creating an effect reminiscent of tiny ice crystals settling over petals on a cool morning. A warm copper-brown accent along the undulating rim provides a beautiful contrast to the plate's cooler, softly muted palette.
Individually glazed and kiln-fired to Cone 6, Frosted Bloom is a one-of-a-kind Cinnamon Rose Pottery decorative piece. The movement and interaction of the glazes during firing create natural variations in color and pattern that cannot be precisely duplicated.
Beautiful displayed on a mantel, hutch, shelf, or tabletop, Frosted Bloom offers a quiet blend of botanical beauty and organic artistry. Measures 7” X 7”.
Black metal display stand included.
Individually glazed and kiln-fired, variations created during firing are part of the beauty of Cinnamon Rose Pottery and ensure that no two pieces can ever be exactly alike.
