There is something special about looking down on a woodland path in autumn and seeing the ground completely covered with fallen leaves. Leaves Underfoot was inspired by that wonderfully familiar sight.
This 8¼-inch decorative pottery plate is filled from edge to edge with overlapping leaves in warm, natural shades of russet, ochre, muted olive, soft coral and deep earthy brown. Fine dark detailing emphasizes the individual leaf veins, while the richly textured background gives the entire surface wonderful depth.
A glossy fired finish settles into the impressions and enhances the variations in both color and texture, creating a piece that seems to reveal another little detail each time you look at it.
Beautiful displayed on a plate stand, shelf, mantel or tabletop, Leaves Underfoot brings the warmth and texture of an autumn woodland indoors.
Approximately 8¼ inches across.
Black metal display stand included.
Individually glazed and kiln-fired, variations created during firing are part of the beauty of Cinnamon Rose Pottery and ensure that no two pieces can ever be exactly alike.
Please note that this item is not intended for children under 14 years of age.
