Patchwork Pumpkins celebrates fall with a playful mix of pattern, color, and individually painted detail. A large pumpkin takes center stage, surrounded by coordinating pumpkins along the edge of the plate, each decorated with its own lively combination of dots, circles, curling vines, and autumn leaves.
Rich pumpkin orange, warm brown, leafy green, golden yellow, deep red, and touches of black create the look of a colorful autumn patchwork quilt. A softly mottled cream background allows the intricate pumpkin designs to take center stage, while subtle shading around the rim gives the plate a warm, gently aged character.
The plate was slipcast, individually stamped, and then carefully painted by hand, including the many small details within each pumpkin. It was kiln-fired to Cone 6 and finished as a one-of-a-kind decorative piece for seasonal display.
